RSVP

The Wedding will take place at the the Davenport House Gardens and will begin promptly at 5 pm. We are suggesting guests plan to arrive no later than 4:45 pm. Following the Ceremony we will have a celebratory toast in the gardens and take quick family portraits! A Trolley will pick us up at 6 pm to take us on a scenic drive of Historic Savannah and to dinner!

Rather than a traditional reception, we have decided to have dinner with the whole wedding party at our favorite restaurant in Savannah, the Grey! Dinner will begin around 6:30. Please notate any dietary restrictions on the RSVP form so that we can ensure there are options available for you to order! If you want to learn more about the Grey before the wedding, Mashama Bailey and the Grey were featured on Chefs Table (Netflix) season 6, episode 1! We are SO excited to be able to have our wedding dinner here!

Because we elected for a seated dinner in lieu of a reception we are planning to go out in Savannah to one or two local spots that are known for a fun time and dancing after dinner! We would love to have you join us, a plan will be communicated day of!

We don’t currently have a formal rehearsal dinner planned, but would love to see everyone who is in town on Wednesday evening. Please let us know if you are planning to be in town and available via the RSVP form so that we can put together a plan to see everyone!

Both the wedding and dinner venues do not have designated parking, and we suggest walking or taking an Uber to the ceremony. There will be transportation provided from the ceremony to dinner. Historic Downtown Savannah is incredibly walkable, if you are flying in we suggest ubering to town rather than renting a car.

Our wedding is going to be outside and shaded, but even with the shade Savannah in May can be hot and humid so please dress comfortably for the hour that we will be outdoors! We are encouraging garden party cocktail attire (for ladies think spring floral or solid dresses, for gentlemen think slacks and a sport coat)

We have chosen to celebrate our wedding with a very intimate group of close friends and family, and have chosen venues with tight guidelines on number of attendees. Only guests indicated on the formal invitation have been accounted for at the wedding ceremony and dinner. However additional guests are welcome to attend the afterparty. All are welcome and invited to come out with us after Dinner!

Your presence is our present! We are so grateful to our friends and family for being willing to travel to Savannah for our wedding, and are so excited to get to celebrate with everyone! We also combined households earlier this year, and have more things than any two people could ever need! In lieu of gifts we will provide a link for a honeymoon fund that will fund activities like a spa day, a boating day, and snorkeling adventures!
