Travel to Savannah
Driving
If you are planning to drive to Savannah double check and make sure that your lodging has parking available. If your accommodations do not have parking available you can park on the street in Savannah, however it is paid and be sure to mind any street sweeping signs to avoid a ticket! There are also several lots that have a daily rate. Reach out to Emma for suggestions when you get to town! Because Downtown Historic Savannah is so walkable and none of our venues have parking spaces, we recommend parking your car when you arrive and leaving it if possible.
Flying
If you are planning to fly to Savannah, the Savannah/Hilton Head (SAV) airport is by far the most convenient. Downtown Historic Savannah, where all of our wedding events will be taking place, is highly walkable! We recommend not renting a car but rather taking ride share or coordinating with family for the 20 minute drive into Savannah.
Lodging Recommendations
Because our wedding is so intimate we are not doing a wedding block at a specific hotel. However below are our recommendations if you would like to stay in a hotel. Historic Downtown Savannah is also a great place to stay in an Airbnb or VRBO! Please feel free to reach out to Emma if you need additional options or advice!
